Requirement collection  

• The Business Analyst goes to the customer's place gathers all the requirements and makes the reference documents called CRS  and converts them into SRS.
• In the next stages, the developers design a prototype of the software.
• The SRS will be in a text format.
• The prototype of the software design by the developers is in the form of pictures or PPT 
• Once the prototype is ready the test engineers do prototype testing.
• If there are any defects in the prototype the developers redesign and develop the prototype again.
•  once the prototype is ready it is reviewed by the customers.
• if the customers ask for the changes the developer redesigned the prototype according to the changes.
• if the customer is satisfied with the prototype.
• He gives the approval to start building the real software.

Design 

• It is done by the architecture and the developers.

Coding 

• The Senior developer's junior developers start writing the source code and build the applications in the stages.

Testing

• In this stage the defects are found by the test engineers and the software is purified.  

Installation 

• The field engineers install the software at the customer's place.

Maintenance 

• if they are any updates defect fixing or any Pb regarding the software the maintenance should be provided to the company.
