Tata Power, a leading energy company in India, is hiring for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee. Candidates who have completed their BE or B. Tech degrees in 2020, 2021, and 2022 are eligible to apply. The basic qualifications for this role include a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical. The preferred qualifications include domain technical skills, problem-solving, attention to detail, creativity, quality orientation, design skills with knowledge of design tools relevant to the domain, project management, supplies management, good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).
The selection process for this role includes an online written test (aptitude and technical test), psychometric assessment, asynchronous video interview, and personal interview. The shortlisting criteria include a minimum of 60% throughout SSC, HSC, graduation, and PGPM/MBA (if applicable), no active backlogs, completion of all academic courses within the stipulated tenure of the course, willingness to travel and be posted anywhere in India, and being declared medically fit by the company CMO.
The joining locations for this role are Tata Power group companies across India, and the joining period is May 2023 onwards (subject to the completion of qualifying examinations).
