The Test Engineer position at Tessolve Semiconductor is an entry-level role for those with a background in semiconductor electronics. As a Test Engineer, the candidate will play a vital role in various projects related to the conversion and introduction of new products. The individual will be responsible for bringing up devices on new Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) platforms, which includes working with a team to provide hardware design and test program development for complex Analog, Power, Mixed Signal and Digital SOC Semiconductor ICs on leading ATE systems.

To be considered for this role, the candidate must have a good understanding of basic electronics concepts, practical experience using electronic bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and logic analyzers, and a solid foundation in programming, specifically C-programming. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be proactive and eager to learn, and have an interest in working in the semiconductor IC industry.

To hone their skills and prepare for this role, the candidate should focus on developing a strong understanding of electronics and programming concepts such as resistor, capacitor, inductors, network and circuit theory, diode, transistors, op-amp, linear ICs, and filter circuits. Additionally, it will be helpful to practice problem-solving skills with passive and DC power sources, voltage divider and current divider circuits, and passive components in parallel and serial connections. Understanding the working principle of different types of diodes, transistors, and op-amps, as well as their applications, will also be beneficial.
