Introduction of an Amplifier

Basic Amplification Process

An amplifier is an electronic device or circuit which is used to increase the signal strength of given input signal. OR Produce increased version of magnitude of the input signal.
However, not all the amplifier circuits are the same as they are classified according to their circuit configurations and modes of operation.
In "Electronics", small signal amplifiers are mostly used devices as they have the ability to amplify a relatively small input signal.
For example:- From a Sensor such as a photo-device, into a much larger output signal to drive a relay, lamp, loudspeaker and motors

Ideal Amplifier model

An amplified output of a given input signal is difference between input and output signal is known as gain of the amplifier. Gain is basically how much amplified output is given by amplifier.
